Blue Feather Aero is the premier flight training school and full service FBO in the SouthWest located at Dona Ana County Airport at Santa Teresa (identifier: 5T6) in New Mexico just 10 miles west of El Paso, Texas.

The Blue Feather Aero training and rental fleet includes 1 Cessna 152 II, 2 Cessna Sparrowhawk 152 II, 3 Cessna 172’s, 2 Cessna 182’s, a Beechcraft V35 Bonanza, and the SouthWest's only Cessna 172 with the revolutionary new Thielert Centurion 1.7L Diesel powered piston engine.

All engine settings are controlled through a single thrust level that ties directly into dual, redundant FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) computers. The FADEC then controls all the engine settings; RPM, horsepower, fuel flow, etc. The engine is turbo supercharged and liquid cooled.
