Discovery Flight – Fulfill your lifetime dream – Learning to Fly!

The perfect way to first experience aviation is with a Discovery Flight. Taking a Discovery Flight with Blue Feather Aero will open up a whole new world to you. Our flight school allows you the opportunity to train over the most awe-inspiring landscape that the southwest has to offer. You will begin by completing a pre-flight inspection on your airplane with your instructor and learn about the various flight instruments in the airplane . As you take the controls of a Cessna, your FAA Certified Flight Instructor will guide you through the takeoff. 

After departing Dona Aña County Airport you'll fly Northeast over El Paso down the Rio Grande Valley where you’ll get to fly the airplane. The standard discovery flight will be completed upon landing at Santa Teresa and will last about 40 minutes. At that time your flight instructor will discuss various flight training approaches and will answer any questions you might have about becoming a pilot.
